The above is a Tom Forrester (there's an article about him in the Spring 2007 Spin-Off magazine) spindle made with cherry tree wood and maple wood. It's my newest addition. The spindle below is my "Little Si" from Cascade Spindle Company. It came with a sample bag I've ordered online. I like it, as do I the Forrester spindle, but what do I know? I will be getting my first spinning wheel soon. Since all is new to me, I don't know yet, when and with what I'll produce some yarn, "knitable", for anything. But spinning
fine yarn is my goal, since I don't like chunky, bulky yarns. If you would like to follow my progress, come visit my
blog.
Happy spinning!
Monika

That is positively beautiful! And all the wool! Wow, definitely eye candy!. I'm looking forward to seeing how it spins fiber.
I love the spindle.
Monika, that Tom Forrester is a beautiful spindle. I think I'll have to go check out that issue of Spin Off.
