Morning Surf Scarf!

This was a wonderful project from the beginning! I received 2 oz of merino/tencel as part of Spunky Eclectic Fiber of the Month Club, and the colorway is called "Aspen". I had to start spinning it the same day.
It was a challenge to find the right pattern for my yarn. Here are some specifics:
yarn: of course my own handspun, 2 oz of Spunky Eclectic "Aspen", 2-ply ~ 216yds
pattern: Morning Surf Scarf by Jackie Erickson-Schweitzer
needles: 3.25mm
size after blocking: 6.5" x 50"
I had not much of the yarn left. This was very satisfying and just a wonderful experience.
There are more pictures on my blog .
Happy spinning and knitting,
Monika

I absolutely love your scarf. The colors and the pattern really work together well. Beautiful knitting job. And congratulations! It's featured in the Summer 2008 Spin•off magazine. Can I grab a picture and use it on my blog? It will link back to this post, of course. Thanks!
