My spinning on this project is still progressing (very slowly). But I finally took my original sample and swatched it up to see what it would look like. I'm pretty happy with the result (more photos on the blog):
It won't be Frost Flowers and Leaves, I think that I would prefer a rectangular shawl and I'm also sure I won't have the appropriate yardage for the original - but I have a 'thing' for this stitch pattern, so I'd love to use it somehow.
I think it's reasonable to assume that I'll finish the yarn by the end of the year; I've got a few more ounces of the merino/tencel to go, which is progressing very slowly; and then I think it will need to sit for a bit before I ply since I've been working on it for so long!
I'm loving the inspiration from all of your progress and FO shots :)

It is wonderful!! I've always loved that lace pattern and the color of your handspun is fabulous. I cannot wait to see the finished shawl!
