To Ply or Not to Ply. . .
Yesterday I set the spin of my singles. I'm still trying to decide if I want to ply this yarn or not. I guess it's swatching time for me.
What are your plans? Are you plying or not?

That's what I've been asking everybody. Can you knit with single yarn? And also, do you have to set the twist in your singles before you ply it with anything?

Your singles look great! Lovely color. I've never knitted with my singles, but that's because usually they are overspun and I rely on plying them to balance it all out. Yours look pretty balanced in the picture though. They should knit up lovely.
Your singles are so beautiful that they don't need to be plied!
your singles look lovely I would go either way (lol not helpful huh?). I personally am plying my own as it is too thin in my opinion to knit without plying, I just can't seem to spin thicker then a sock yarn (and thats when it is plied), I tried once and it looked like crud.
